Use My Ps3 Headset

Headset.

The Playstation 3 offers something that none of the other current generation systems offer, and that's the opportunity to use Bluetooth. You can connect your PS3 headset with Bluetooth or with a USB plug.

Instructions

USB Headset

1. Plug your USB headset into any open USB slot on your PS3.

2. Turn on the system and navigate to the PS3 dashboard.

3. In the dashboard, you want to select the option "settings," then "accessory settings," and finally, "audio device settings."

4. Select the device that you have connected, and adjust the volume. Your USB headset is now configured.

Bluetooth Headset

5. Turn on the PS3, and your Bluetooth headset.

6. Navigate the menu system until you find "settings," then "accessory settings," and finally "register Bluetooth device."

7. Find your device and select "start scanning." Select the type of headset you have once your PS3 finds it. There will usually be only one option, but the PS3 wants to ensure that it has found the correct device.

8. Enter your four-digit pass key. If you don't have a pass key, the default is generally four zeroes. If this doesn't work, consult the manual to ensure that it wasn't given a pass key before being shipped to you.
