Use Nokia N810 With A Memory Card

The Nokia N810 is an Internet tablet for users looking for a mobile device with a larger display than those available on smartphones. The 4.13-inch wide screen display on the Nokia N810 makes it ideal for surfing the Internet or for watching videos. The N810 has 2GB of internal memory for storing music and video files. Additionally, memory cards up to 8GB can be inserted in the device's memory card slot for extra storage capacity.

Instructions

1. Insert a miniSD card or microSD card with adapter into the device's memory card slot. The memory card slot is located on the front right corner of the device under the desk stand. The memory card will lock into place with an audible click when inserted properly.

2. Tap the application menu icon on the device's home screen, then select "Utilities" and "File Manager" to see the file folder for the memory card. Both internal and external memory cards will be shown in the folder list.

3. Rename the memory card by pressing the "Menu" key on the keyboard while inside the File Manager window. Select "File" and "Rename" from the menu. Enter a name for the memory card using the slide-out keyboard of the device. Click "OK" to allow changes to take effect.

4. Format the memory card by pressing the "Menu" key while in the File Manager window. Select "Tools" and "Format memory card." Click "OK" when prompted to format the card.
