Pair A Motorola Bluetooth Hs820 With A Phone

Before you can start using your Motorola HS820 headset, you'll need to pair it with a compatible phone. As with most Motorola accessories, the HS820 can be used with almost any Bluetooth enabled phone, as long as it supports a headset profile. Pairing is usually a one-time process---your phone will save the headset as a trusted device, allowing you to connect to it easily later on. Charge your HS820 fully before pairing; this takes about two hours.

Instructions

1. Unplug your headset from the charging source. Do not power the headset on.

2. Press your phone's "Menu" button and select "Settings," then "Bluetooth." Turn on Bluetooth. Make sure your phone is close to your headset (no more than a few feet apart) to ensure a connection can be established.

3. Press and hold the headset's "Call" button, located on the front of the device and marked with a phone icon. Release the button when the blue indicator light remains solidly lit. The headset is now in pairing mode.

4. Open your phone's Bluetooth options and choose "Add Device" or "Look for Devices."

5. Select "Motorola HS820" from the list that appears. Press "OK" or "Pair."

6. Enter "0000" when asked for the pass key. Press "OK" to complete pairing; the indicator light will begin flashing.
