Replace A Sim Card On A Nokia Slide Phone

SIM cards identify and authenticate your Nokia Slide phone.

At the core of cell phones, such as the Nokia Slide Phone models, is a "SIM" card. These cards contain a unique serial number that is used to identify and authenticate your phone. This number is specific for the geographic region that you live in. There can be a few different reasons that you may want to change the SIM card in your Nokia Slide phone. One reason may be if you use two different phone numbers, but don't want to carry two phones. If you are traveling in a different country, rather than paying roaming charges, you can replace the SIM card.

Instructions

1. Turn your Nokia Slide off and carefully remove the back cover.

2. Remove the battery by lifting it up and pulling out the battery holders. Beneath the battery lies the SIM card.

3. Lift up the SIM card using your fingernail or a small coin. Once it's raised, carefully pull the SIM card out.

4. Replace the SIM card by lining up the contacts on the SIM card so they rest against the contacts in the Nokia Slide phone. Slide the SIM card into place.

5. Replace the battery and the back cover, turn your phone on and you are ready to start using your Nokia Slide phone.
