Unlock A Motorola Microtac 650e Cellphone

The Motorola Microtac 650E isn’t exactly one of the hottest cell phones around, but it is still fairly popular. The flip style phone is perfect for those in rural areas because it has a clear sound in even remote areas. It also has a strong battery, which makes it perfect for those who talk a lot. Unfortunately this analog style cell phone also has a bad habit of locking itself up, and users may turn it on to find the “LOC’D” message on the screen. Unlocking the phone is quite easy, and if you need to unlock you Motorola Microtac 650E all you need to do is follow a few simple steps.

Instructions

1. Look for the FCN key and push it down. As soon as you release the button, push the O button 13 times in a row.

2. Push the RCL button. If you have done this right, the phone will flash 01 on the screen. If you do not see these numbers, repeat the first step.

3. Hold down the pound key (#). This should cause the cell phone to reboot, which means you can continue, otherwise you need to repeat the steps.

4. Keep pressing the pound key until it turns up with a new screen. On this new screen it will show you a 3-digit number. That number will unlock your cell phone. Write it down.

5. Turn the phone off and then back on. When prompted, enter the code it gave you earlier. Now your Motorola cell phone should be unlocked and working like new.
