Make A Usb Data Link File Transfer Cable

The left side of the cable is male while the right side is a female connection.

A USB data link connects two different computers together through a single USB data cable. This allows you to transfer files and information from one computer to another. In order to complete this connection all you need is a USB cable with two male ends long enough to reach both computers. You might not have a USB cable that stretches this far, in which case you must connect two (or more) USB data cables together.

Instructions

1. Plug the male end of the first USB data cable into one of the USB ports on the first computer.

2. Insert the opposite end of the cable into one of the female ends of the USB adapter. This adapter is used to connect two USB cables together and is roughly an inch or two in length.

3. Connect the second USB cable into the opposite female end of the USB adapter.

4. Plug the free end of the second USB cable into one of the USB ports on the second computer (or continue to attache additional USB cables to reach the computer). Once the computer is connected your transfer cable is complete.
