Mobile phones sold with cellular plans are mostly locked to the particular cellular company's network. A locked phone can only be used through that particular network. If you want switch your network but still retain the same phone, you must unlock it from its current network. Once it is unlocked, just insert a new SIM of any network and start using your phone. Unlocking a mobile phone is a fairly simple procedure. All you must do is enter an unlock code into the phone using its keypad. You can purchase the unlock code for your Nokia 6682 from websites like The Phone Unlockers, Mobile Unlock Solutions and Nokia Unlocking for a small fee.
Instructions
The Phone Unlockers
1. Go to the website The Phone Unlockers. (See Resources.)
2. Enter your Nokia 6682's IMEI in the "IMEI" field and select the network your phone is locked to. Also, enter your name and email address.
3. Check "Agree to the terms & conditions" at the bottom of the page and click the "Order Your Unlock Code" button.
4. Enter your billing address on the next page and make the payment via PayPal. You will get the unlock code and unlocking instructions on your email address after you make the payment.
5. Enter the unlock code into your Nokia 6682.

6. Visit the Mobile Unlocking Solutions website. (See Resources.)
7. Select "Nokia" and "6682" from the "Manufacturer" and "Model" lists respectively. Select your country and the network to which your phone is locked from the "Country" and "Network" lists, and click the "Continue" button.
8. Click the "Buy Now" button in front of the unlocking service that appears.
9. Log in using your username and password, or create a new account by providing your name, email address and password. Provide your billing address after logging in and proceed to checkout. Once you make the payment, you will get an email on your address containing the unlock code and the unlocking instructions.
10. Enter the code into your phone following the unlocking instructions.

11. Open the website Nokia Unlocking (see Resources) in your browser.
12. Select your country and the network to which your phone is locked, and click the "Order Now" button. Enter your Nokia 6682's IMEI on the page that appears and click the "Add to Shopping Cart" button.
13. Click the "Check Out" button and select your payment method. You can pay through PayPal or credit card.
14. Enter your billing details along with your email address and make the payment. You will then receive the unlock code along with the unlocking instructions through email.
15. Follow the unlocking instructions and enter the unlock code into your Nokia 6682 to unlock it.
