Reinstall Works

You don't have to suffer with Microsoft Works errors; you can reinstall the program to correct the problems.

Microsoft Works, a scaled-down version of Microsoft Office, is a suite of programs preloaded on Windows-based systems. The program, geared toward home computer users, includes a word processor as well as a database application. But the suite is not without its faults including shutting down unexpectedly. Other issues include start-up errors, "Setup is unable to register tasks," and the program failing to issue an error message and still not starting. To repair issues and errors, you can reinstall Works and return the program to its factory settings.
