The Rocketfish Bluetooth adapter enables you to connect to your PC acessories wirelessly.
Rocketfish is a maker of various electronics accessories that are exclusive to Best Buy retail stores. Among the many items Rocketfish produces is the USB Bluetooth adapter. This device allows you to connect your computer to any Bluetooth-enabled accessory, such as speakers or a mouse. The set-up process is simple and does not require a great deal of computer knowledge.
Instructions
1. Insert the Rocketfish Bluetooth adapter into your computer. Place the software installation disc that came with the adapter into your computer's disk drive. When prompted, install the necessary software by clicking "OK" on the dialog box that appears when the adapter is connected. Continue clicking through the prompts, and press the "Install" button when it appears.
2. Open the "My Bluetooth Places" from your desktop and input the nickname you wish to assign to your computer in the "Computer Name" box. Press "Next", and a list of nearby Bluetooth devices will appear. Click on the name of the Bluetooth device that you wish to connect to and press "Next".
3. Enter the Bluetooth's device passkey, if prompted, to complete the pairing process. By default, this numerical code is "0-0-0-0". Press the "Connect" button to wirelessly link your computer to the Rocketfish Bluetooth device.
