Use Internet In N95 Through A Usb Cable

Many wireless phone carriers provide the ability to "tether" a smartphone to a PC or laptop. This allows you to share your smartphone's Internet connection with your computer--a great feature for those who are constantly on the go and often find themselves in areas without Wi-Fi. The Nokia N95 smartphone runs on the S60 software platform, which allows you to tether your device to your computer and share the mobile Web much like a wireless USB modem.

Instructions

1. Start the Nokia PC Suite software by clicking "Start" > "All Programs" and selecting the application from your list of installed programs.

2. Click the "Click here to connect a phone" image to the right of the various icons in the application.

3. Choose "Cable connection" when asked which connection you'd like to use, then click the "Forward" arrow.

4. Plug one end of the USB cable into your phone and the other end into an available USB slot on your computer. The wizard will automatically detect your N95 and install the required software.

5. Navigate back to the main menu of the Nokia PC Suite and select "One Touch Access." Choose the "Nokia N95 8GB USB Modem" as your connection method.
