Activate a Samsung Bluetooth Headset


Samsung is among the leaders in the United States in mobile devices and cell phone technology. A number of the manufacturer's latest phone models offer users a variety of their top technology capabilities, including wireless Bluetooth headsets. These headsets allow the owner of the phone to utilize the device's calling features without even having the phone on them. Most Bluetooth devices work up to 30 feet and feature both a speaker and a mouthpiece for talking on the phone. The device has only to be activated and synced with the Samsung phone.


Instructions


1. Make sure that your headset is charged and turned on.


2. Click the "Start" button on your Samsung cell phone and click "Settings" in the phone's main menu.


3. Select "Connections" in the "Settings" menu and tap the "Bluetooth" option.


4. Check "Turn on Bluetooth" in the "Mode" tab.


5. Open the "Devices" menu and select "New (Partnership)."


6. Select your headset device from the populated list of available devices and select "Next."


7. Type the passkey of "0000" using your phone's keypad and select "Next" again.


8. Type in a name for your Bluetooth connection and select "Hands Free" and then "Finish" to complete the headset activation and connection.
