Use An Unlocked Pantech Duo

The Pantech Duo C810 is a quad-band Global Systems for Mobile Communications cellular phone sold by AT&T Wireless in the United States. The phone is normally sold with a carrier lock that prevents use of the phone with another cellular service provider. By unlocking your Pantech Duo, you can use the phone with any GSM cellular service provider worldwide. Insert an active subscriber identity module card into the phone to make and receive calls and text messages on the unlocked phone using the cellular network associated with the SIM card.


Instructions


1. Slide the back cover off the phone and remove the battery.


2. Insert an active SIM card into the SIM card holder located at the bottom of the battery compartment. Align the contacts from the SIM card with the contacts on the SIM card holder.


3. Insert the battery and replace the phone's back cover.


4. Power on the phone.


5. Wait for the logo from the cellular service provider associated with the SIM card to appear in the upper-right corner of the phone's display.


6. Dial the 10-digit phone number you want to call using the phone's keypad. Press the "Send" key to connect your call. Press the "End" key to terminate your call. When the phone receives an incoming call, you will hear the phone ring or feel it vibrate. Press the "Send" key to answer the incoming call. Press the "End" key to terminate the call.
