Use Google Exchange On Your Nokia E71

Synchronize your Google contacts to your Nokia E71 phone.

You also have the ability to synchronize your Nokia phone with Google Exchange. With Google Exchange, you have the option to synchronize your Google calendars and contacts. Now, you will be able to have your emails and schedules all in one place. You just need the right software to initiate the synchronization process.


Instructions


1. Open a mobile browser on your Nokia E71 phone. Navigate to the NuevaSync website. Click the "Signup" page to register your account.


2. Click "Setup" underneath actions. Enter your Google email address and password. Click "Grant Access."


3. Click the green light next to "Calendar" to verify that Google Exchange can synchronize with the NuevaSync server.


4. Click the link to "Need help configuring your phone." Click on the "Connection Tab." Make sure it has "nuevasync.com" as Exchange Server, "Yes" underneath Secure Connection and "Yes" for Default Port. If not, enter this information.


5. Click the "Credentials" tab. Enter your NuevaSync username and password. Set "Domain" as nuevasync.com.


6. Point to the "Sync Content" tab. Set your synchronize settings to "Calendar" and "Contacts." Enter "Server Wins" for "In Case of Conflict."


7. Create a sync schedule. Enter the day and time you want Exchange to synchronize with your phone. You may also want to set "Always On" or "Manual." Your phone will now begin synchronizing with Exchange in the background.
