The 6300i is a model of cellphone manufactured by Nokia, a Finnish telecommuniucations company based in Espoo, near Helsinki. The 6300i can be used to send and receive email messages when configured with a POP3 or IMAP4 email account. In order to properly set up your email mailbox on your Nokia 6300i, you will need certain unique pieces of information from your email provider about your account. Once configured, you will be able to use your email account on your phone as you would on your computer.
Instructions
1. Press "Menu," and select "Messaging."
2. Select "Email," then "Options," then "Manage Accounts."
3. The email setup wizard will start if no settings are configured. Enter the required information, such as: "Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server" or "Incoming Mail (POP3) Server," "Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)," your account name, email address and password when prompted. You can find out this information from your email provider.
4. Finish the email configuration wizard. You will now be able to send and receive email on your Nokia 6300i.
