Put Flash Player On A Cell Phone

You can add Flash support to your cell phone using the Skyfire browser.


Flash media is frequently used on the Internet to display video content. Popular websites, such as ESPN and CNET, all use flash to deliver their content. The company, who makes Flash player, Adobe, does not have a stand alone mobile Flash application, thus you need a a browser that has Flash integration. Currently, the only mobile browser that supports Flash media is Skyfire.


Instructions


1. Navigate to m.skyfire.com on your mobile phone. Click on the download link at the center of the screen to download the browser. Install the file and if prompted, allow Skyfire to change your phone's system settings.


2. Open up the Skyfire browser from your phone's main menu. Enter the address of the website that contains Flash into the URL entry field at the top of the screen.


3. Play flash videos by simply clicking on them. Typical playback controls, such as a "Play/Pause" and "Fast Forward/Rewind" buttons will appear at the bottom of your screen. Flash content can now be played on your mobile phone.
