Running a Command AntiVirus scan is simple.


A software created by Authentium, Command AntiVirus is a program that colleges, corporations and other institutions use to protect their network or operating systems from getting any malware or viruses. The Command AntiVirus software offers daily updates as well as a scan feature that helps detect potential threats in your computer. Fortunately, running a Command AntiVirus scan is simple.


Instructions


1. Go to your computer's "Start Menu" which is at the bottom left tab on your screen, and click on the "All Programs" or "Programs" option.


2. Click on the "Command Software" option displayed on the "All Programs" menu.


3. Click on the "Command AntiVirus" option on the sub menu being displayed.


4. Click on the drives you want to scan. The drives will be displayed in the pop-up box titled "Command AntiVirus." You may select all the drives or you can select individually. Drives you are able to scan include "Hard Drives," "Drive A," "Drive B," "CD-Rom" and "Zip Disk."


5. Click on the "Execute Task" tab located on the right side of the pop-up box to begin the Command AntiVirus scan.


6. View the scan results on the pop-up box titled "Command AntiVirus Report Window." If a threat or virus is found during the scan process, the results will display it on the bottom of the pop-up box. When you have gotten the scan results, click on the "X" located on the upper right corner of the pop-up box to close it and go back to the Command Software screen. If a virus was found during the scan, the software will disinfect the compromised file automatically.
