Upgrade The Microsd Memory In Mytouch

The myTouch smart phone allows you to use MicroSD cards to act as expandable memory. If you want to download applications from the Internet or store songs or videos on your phone, they are actually stored on this MicroSD card. Upgrading the MicroSD card on your myTouch involves purchasing a new card and installing it inside the phone yourself. This can be done at any time via your phone's case.

Instructions

1. Purchase a MicroSD card from an electronics retailer. As you're upgrading the memory in your myTouch, be sure to buy a card with a larger storage capacity than the one you already own.

2. Turn your myTouch around so the back is facing you. Using your fingers, pull down on the back panel of the phone. The back panel will come off, revealing the inside of the unit.

3. Push in on the MicroSD card that is currently in your myTouch's storage slot. This will eject the card from the slot.

4. Insert your new MicroSD card into the myTouch storage card slot. The label on the card should be facing upward toward you.

5. Replace the back panel on your myTouch. You have now upgraded the SD memory in your myTouch.
