Troubleshoot a Motorola H710 Bluetooth

The Motorola H710 is a Bluetooth headset created by Motorola to be used with mobile phones. Once connected to a cell phone, the Motorola H710 can be used as a hands-free device with a phone allowing you to make and receive calls without touching your mobile phone.

Instructions

1. Pair your H710 with your phone. In order for the H710 to work, it will first need to be paired with your phone. Connect the two by going into the Bluetooth menu of your mobile phone (typically located under Settings) and selecting "Add a new device." Your phone will search for Bluetooth-capable devices in the area, select your headset from the list and enter the pairing code (0000).

2. Keep your headset close to your mobile phone when you want to use it. The H710 has a range of 33 feet. If you move more than 33 feet away from your mobile phone with your headset, the headset will not be able to connect to your phone, causing dropped calls or preventing you from answering an incoming call.

3. Charge your H710 whenever it is not in use. Keeping the headset fully charged will ensure you always have the battery power needed to make a call. The H710 has a talk time of 6 1/2 hours, and a standby time of eight days.
