Unlock Samsung & Sgha411

GSM cell phone towers use an analog signal.

Samsung's SGH-A411 is a cellular phone based on the analog GSM wireless network. These phones have SIM cards and are locked to a certain carrier, such as AT&T, T-Mobile or Alltel. There are numerous websites that offer phone unlocking for a fee, but you can unlock your SGH-A411 in a matter of minutes without having to pay for it, allowing you to use the phone on other GSM networks.

Instructions

1. Type "*#06#" into the phone and write down the number that comes up. This is the phone's serial number (IMEI) and is a unique identification used for identifying that particular phone model.

2. Call your current cell phone provider's customer service center and tell them that you want to unlock your SGH-A411 to other carriers. Give them the IMEI and your phone number and write down the unlock code that they give you.

3. Disconnect from customer service and enter the unlock code, followed by the send button. This unlocks your phone to other carriers. Note that you have to have a SIM card from another carrier to use its network.
