Use A Logitech Headset

Logitech Bluetooth Headset

Logitech makes several different headsets to be used with both computers and mobile phones. The company's PC headsets are designed to be used primarily for multi-player gaming, while the mobile phone versions are designed to be used as hands-free devices while you are driving your car or participating in other activities that might require two hands. For wired computer headsets, all you need to do to get going is simply connect the headset to your USB port, the pink cord into your microphone jack, and the black cord into your headphone jack on your computer and start talking. Using the Bluetooth headsets is a little more complicated, but still easy to do.

Instructions

1. Turn on your Logitech headset by pressing the button on the back of the headset and waiting to hear two beeps. Place the headset near the phone or computer you would like to use it with.

2. Go into the Bluetooth menu of your mobile phone or computer and ask the device to "Search for new devices."

3. Select your Logitech headset from the list of devices that appear.

4. Type in the "Pairing Code" for your Logitech headset into your computer or mobile phone. The pairing code is typically found on a sticker attached to your headset. It can also occasionally be found in the instruction book provided with the headset.

5. Attempt to make a call with your headset to ensure the pairing process was successful.

6. Power your headset off by holding down the button on the back of the headset and waiting to hear two beeps. You will know the headset is off when the light on the back of the headset turns off. The headset will blink when it is on and in standby mode.
