Install Knobs On A Zeiss Conquest

Zeiss optics produces products for field use. Among these is a series of riflescopes, including the Conquest line. Conquest riflescopes use two controls to zero in accuracy on a horizontal and vertical plane. These are the windage and elevation controls, respectively. To use these controls, turn the knobs on the side and top of the scopes. Should the knobs wear out or fall off, replace them to regain the target accuracy abilities of the scopes.

Instructions

1. Open the rifle chamber the Conquest is attached to. Confirm that the chamber and rifle are empty of any ammunition. Place the rifle safety to on and leave the chamber open.

2. Look through the Conquest scope as you would when aiming the rifle. Feel the two threaded wire screws sticking out from the side and middle-top of the scope. Turn these as far clockwise as possible, using your thumb and forefinger. This sets the windage and elevation controls to the original and neutral position.

3. Place one drop of the liquid adhesive into the under-side center of the windage and elevation replacement knobs.

4. Push the knobs onto the threaded screws so the screw holes align to the screws. Turn the knobs clockwise to tighten them onto the scope's screws. Let the glue dry.

5. Use the knobs to gain accurate horizontal and vertical shots by turning them left or right during target or hunting sessions.
