Manage The New Pure Digital Flip Camcorder

Flip video camcorders are digital devices with a USB port that literally flips out of the side of the device. This allows you to upload saved video onto a computer without plugging in a USB cable. If you have recently purchased a new Pure Digital Flip camcorder, you need to know work and manage the camera to take advantage of all its features.

Instructions

1. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the Flip video camera, then slide in the provided batteries. Depending on the Pure Digital Flip camcorder you purchased, you either have standard AA batteries or an internal lithium-ion battery.

2. Press the "Power" button on the rear of the video camera. The small LCD display on the rear of the screen shows the content where the lens is pointed.

3. Push "Record" at any time to begin recording video. Press "Stop" to stop the recording process.

4. Press the "Menu" button, then select "View." A list of all the recorded videos now loads onto the screen. Select any video you don't want and press the "Delete" button.

5. Flip out the USB port on the side of the Flip camera (pull it out with your finger), then plug it into a USB port on any computer system. The computer detects the connected camera and asks if you want to upload the video files. Select "Yes" to upload the files from the Flip camera to your computer.
