Replace The Sim Card In A V262

Learn replace the SIM in a cell phone in order to switch the phone you use.


The V262 is a cellular phone designed and manufactured by Motorola. The cell phone is a flip design and comes in different colors. The V262 holds the SIM card behind the battery. The SIM, or subscriber identity modular, card is removable and is used to store subscriber information. Using the SIM card allows subscribers to change phones by removing the SIM card and placing it into the V262.


Instructions


1. Turn the V262 off by holding down the "Power/End" key.


2. Turn the phone over and press the release button on the back cover. Slide the cover off. You will now have access to the battery compartment.


3. Lift the battery and remove it from the phone. You will now see the SIM card secured into the phone.


4. Remove the SIM card by carefully sliding it downward until the card is free from the retainer clip. Lift the card out.


5. Replace the SIM card by positioning it under the retainer clip and pushing down. The SIM is now replaced. Replace the battery by inserting it faced down with the tabs toward the front. Replace the cover by aligning it with the phone and sliding it into place.
