Watch TV on your mobile phone with a streaming program.
In addition to acting as communication devices, today's cell phones are also capable of providing lots of entertainment options. This can include games, music and even TV. By using an Internet-enabled phone, you can watch your favorite shows on your cell phone by using a few websites that stream then for free.
Instructions
Using a Free Streaming Software
1. Connect your cell phone to the Internet.
2. Download a free application for mobile phone that allows you get streaming TV. You can consider using EarthMediaCenter TV and SkyFire. (See Resources.)
3. Install the download on your cell phone.
4. Open the application. The free streaming application is usually located under the cell phone's "Applications."
5. Browse the different free channels. You will see the local channels available in your area. Free international channels like CNN, the CW and Sports TV, among others, will be displayed as well.
6. Select the channel that you want to watch and enjoy the show.
Using a Direct Internet Connection
7. Open your phone's browser and connect to the Internet.
8. Go to a website that streams television. A few that you can use are CBS, Hulu and sidereel. Shows are displayed by name or genre.
9. Click the show you want to watch.
