Convert Video To Cell Phone Format Using Prism

As quasi-cyborgs, most of us never leave home without our cell phones. Used for much more than making calls, cell phones now function as mobile communication and entertainment command centers. Video capabilities allow some mobile phone subscribers to watch movies or other media from anywhere in the world. Prism makes it easy for users to convert their favorite videos to cell phone format.


Instructions


1. Download and install Prism Video Converter. Prism is licensed freeware and runs on Linux, Solaris, Windows and Mac operating systems.


2. Open Prism and browse your video files to locate those you wish to convert to 3gp, or cell phone format. Prism converts avi, mpg, wmv and mp4 video formats, and all others you can view using Windows Media Player.


3. Import desired videos from your hard drive to Prism. You can also insert a DVD and convert files directly to mobile phone format using the software.


4. Select all of the files you want to convert and select the correct output format. Before initiating the conversion process, make sure you indicated the correct output format for cell phones: 3GP.


5. Click "Convert" and wait for prism to do its magic. Upon completion, Prism displays all converted video files in an output folder. Now, you can load video onto your cell phone for hours of enjoyment.
