Set Up Motorola Bluetooth H500

Connect a Motorola H500 Bluetooth.

The Motorola H500 is a wireless Bluetooth headset that allows people with a Bluetooth-enabled cell phone from any manufacturer to carry on a conversation without holding the phone to their ear. For the headset to work with a phone, a process called pairing needs to take place. This ensures that no one else in your vicinity with a Bluetooth-enabled device can listen to your calls and vice-versa.

Instructions

1. Charge the headset by plugging one end of the charging cable into the headset and the other end of the cable into a USB port on your computer or an electrical outlet. A blue LED light on the headset will light up as the unit is charging, and it will turn off when the headset is fully charged. It will take approximately two hours to charge completely.

2. Turn on the Bluetooth option on your phone. You can find this under the "Connections" menu on your cell phone.

3. Pair your headset with your cell phone. Make sure that the power on your Motorola H500 headset is off. Apply constant pressure to the call button on the headset until the blue light comes on steady. It should take about six to 10 seconds of pressure. Your headset is now in pairing mode.

4. Navigate to the "Connections" menu on your cell phone, then to the Bluetooth menu. Then select "Look for Devices."

5. Choose Motorola H500 and enter "0000" for the passkey.
