Unlock A Nokia Sl3

A Nokia SL3 is short for "SIM Lock 3." This means your Nokia phone has a lock protection feature that prevents you from switching providers. If you received your Nokia SL3 through the mail or from an online store, it may have come with a lock on it. To switch providers, you will need an unlock code. Your mobile provider will help you generate an unlock code using your phone's International Mobile Equipment Identification (IMEI) number. It is up to you to locate this number from your phone.

Instructions

1. Dial *#06# in your Nokia phone. Press the "Send" button. Write down the 15-to-17-digit IMEI number.

2. Contact your mobile provider. Verify your account number, mobile number and Social Security number with the representative.

3. Ask for an unlock code for your Nokia phone. Provide its IMEI number and model number. Write down the unlock code and disconnect the call.

4. Turn off your Nokia phone. Remove the battery cover on the back of your phone. Take out the battery and old SIM card.
