Download Music On A Nokia N900 Phone

Add music to your Nokia N900 in a few simple steps.

The Nokia N900 is a touchscreen smartphone packed with features, including a 5-megapixel camera, a full HTML web browsing app containing Adobe Flash support, and a media player, capable of playing video and audio. If you have songs stored on your computer that you'd like to put on your Nokia N900, you can transfer them to your smartphone in a few simple steps, as long as the files are in an MP3, AAC, WAV, WMA or m4a format.

Instructions

1. Connect your Nokia N900 to your PC via the USB data cable that came with the phone.

2. Navigate to the "Start" menu, followed by "Computer," and locate the removable disk icon. This represents your Nokia N900.

3. Navigate to the folder that contains your music. If you're unsure of where your music is stored, look under "Start," followed by "Music."

4. Drag and drop any music files onto the removable disk icon. The files will automatically be added to your N900.

5. Right-click the USB icon located in the bottom right-hand corner of the computer screen. Select "Safely Remove Hardware." Select "USB Mass Storage Device" from the pop-up window, and then select "Stop." Disconnect your N900 from your computer when you're notified that it's safe to do so.
