Remove Your Skype Web Number

Computer convenience features can become an annoyance if they inhibit basic tasks.

The Skype voice over IP (VoIP) application lets you conveniently place phone calls over the Internet from your computer by clicking on a highlighted phone number on a Web page displayed in a browser. However, for those individuals that use Skype only for text and video chat this feature may be annoying. Disable the Skype Web number highlight feature and prevent accidental calls from the computer.
