Reinstall Microsoft Works Xp

You can remove Microsoft Works and install a new copy.


Microsoft Works lets you create documents, spreadsheets and databases on Windows XP. It supports Microsoft Office documents and can edit files created by Word, Excel and Access. If you have error messages or other problems with Microsoft Works, you may wish to reinstall the program. You can uninstall Works from your computer and reinstall it by using your Microsoft Works CD.


Instructions


1. Select "Control Panel" from the Start menu and double-click "Add or Remove Programs." Select Microsoft Works from the "Currently installed programs" box and click "Remove." Select "Yes" to confirm that you wish to uninstall Works.


2. Insert the Microsoft Works CD in your CD drive after uninstalling the program. When the CD's autorun opens the installation wizard, select "Next" on the Welcome dialog box. Click "Next" to confirm the folder in which you wish to install the program. Select "Complete Installation (recommended)" in the Installation Options box and click "Next."


3. Click "Install" in the Ready to Install window that appears. Click "Finish" when the installation completes.
