Download & Sync Music To My Phone

If you have music that you want to download to your phone from your PC and you don't want to be bothered with a cord or software downloads, you can send it to your phone via Bluetooth. This is a convenient option if you are away from your home PC or you do not have the phone software anymore. If your PC is Bluetooth-enabled you can send files rapidly to any Bluetooth-enabled phone within range.

Instructions

Syncing the Devices

1. Turn on your handset and make sure it's fully charged.

2. Enter the main menu on your handset and navigate to the "Bluetooth" option. This option may be under your "Connections" or "Tools" settings. Open the "Bluetooth" folder and enable the Bluetooth connection.

3. Turn on your PC and navigate to the start menu. Go to "Control Panel." Select "Network and Internet" then "Set up a Bluetooth enabled device." When the dialog box appears click the "Add" button.

4. Click the option that says "My device is set up and ready to be found," then "Next." Once your device is located, select it from the list provided.

5. Enter the Bluetooth passkey. This passkey is normally defaulted as 0000 or 12345. Please see your user manual for your PC model's Bluetooth passkey. Once you've entered this passkey, you'll be requested to enter the same passkey on your handset. Enter it then click "Connect."

Sending the Music Files

6. Locate the folder that houses your music file and open it.

7. Right click the music file, then click the "Send-To" option. From here, select the "Bluetooth" option.

8. Select your handset from the Bluetooth dialog box. Then select "Next."

9. Click "Accept" on your handset to start the file transfer.
