Unlock Ipod Codes

iPod Screen Lock Code Procedures

Apple's iPods are some of the finest, highest-selling iPods available in the portable MP3 player market. As each new new generation is introduced, so are larger hard drives, batteries with more extensive lifespans, and new features such as "screen lock," which allows the owner of an iPod to require the device to prompt for a code after a pre-set period of inactivity. Unlocking the code is possible in one of three ways.

Instructions

1. Enter the proper code to unlock the iPod.

2. Plug the iPod into the computer that the iPod was formatted with, or with the computer that the iPod is primarily attached to. Allow the iPod to boot up and appear in iTunes. Eject the iPod by clicking the "Eject" icon next to the iPod's name in iTunes, and disconnect it from the computer. Doing this will unlock the iPod until the next period of inactivity.

3. Plug the iPod into any computer with iTunes. Open iTunes and select the iPod's name from the left side of the iTunes screen. Click the "Reset" icon in the middle of the main menu. Follow the directions to reset the iPod to its original factory settings. This will erase all the data on the iPod, so it should be used only as a last resort.
