Transfer Tracfone Minutes From An Old Phone To A New Phone

Transfer TracFone Minutes From an Old Phone to a New Phone

TracFone is a prepaid cell phone service that allows you to replace your phone anytime. TracFone lets customers use many different types of phones, including Kyocera, LG, Motorola, Nokia and Samsung. Since there is no contract, you may change phones for any reason without losing the remaining minutes on your old phone. These minutes can be transferred to your new phone through a process called a phone upgrade.

Instructions

1. Go to any major retailer that carries TracFone merchandise and purchase a new phone, or buy one directly from the TracFone website (see References below).

2. Go online to TracFone's homepage once you have your new phone.

3. Click on the "Activate/Reactivate Phone" link on the menu at the top of the page. This will take you to the "Activate Phone" page.

4. Click on the "Existing TracFone Customer" button.

5. Log in to your online account using your email and password. If you need to create a new account, you will have to provide personal information including your name, date of birth, home phone number, ZIP code and email address. You will also need to set up a password and security question to protect your account.

6. Follow the prompts to activate your new phone and transfer the old minutes to it.
