Bluetooth Between Phones

Bluetooth Between Phones

Bluetooth technology can be used to connect one phone with another. The main benefit of this is that it gives both phones the ability to send and receive information and data from one another over a powerful and secure wireless network. The phones must first be programmed to recognize each other.

Instructions

1. Put the first Bluetooth ready cellphone in "Pairing" mode. This is the mode that will tell it to search for other Bluetooth devices within a certain range. You can turn on "Pairing" mode by going into your phone's main menu, selecting the option for Bluetooth settings, and selecting the option that says "Pairing" mode. Some model phones may also have a "Discovery" mode.

2. Put the second Bluetooth ready cellphone in "Sync" mode. This will cause the phone to emit a Bluetooth signal that can be recognized by any Bluetooth device in the area. In this case, the signal will be recognized by the first phone.

3. Select the second Bluetooth ready cellphone from the list of devices you are presented with by the first Bluetooth ready cellphone. After a few moments the first phone will present you with a list of devices it was able to recognize; your second phone should be the only device on that list. Select it using your phone's "OK" button and the two phones will be connected to each other as long as they are within range.
