The HP 2840 printer performs a variety of tasks, including scanning, copying and printing. The printer is manufactured by Hewlett-Packard with 96MB of memory and is capable of handling most standard tasks. However, more complex tasks may require additional memory. This printer has the capability to updgrade the memory to 224MB.

128 MB DIMM: No. C9121A.

2. Turn off the printer.

3. Insert the memory module in the DIMM slot. This slot is located in the lower right of the printer. To do so, open the DIMM slot door and slide the module into the DIMM space. Close the DIMM slot door.

4. Turn on the printer.

5. Wait while the printer downloads the information from the DIMM. Once the download is complete and the printer is ready to function, "Complete" will appear on the LCD panel.
