Recording a new voicemail greeting on your Razr
On top of its many other features, the Motorola Razr comes with a feature common to many other cellular phones: voicemail. Your voicemail account is setup by your service provider and may vary from carrier to carrier; however the process of actually accessing the voicemail account and working with it is the same on all Razr phones. So if you want to change the voicemail greeting on your Razr all it takes is a moment of your time.
Instructions
1. Flip open your Razr and enter the voicemail number on the phone's keypad in order to access your personal voicemail account.
2. Listen to the voice prompts and choose "Personal options" from the list of selections. Then choose "Record new greeting" from the list of selections.
3. Record your new voicemail message when prompted. When you are finished you can choose the "playback" option and listen to the greeting you just recorded. If you are not satisfied with the greeting you can choose the "Erase" option and re-record a greeting. Otherwise your new voicemail greeting is set.
