Start A Bmw 745 Li With A Valet Key

When you turn your BMW over to a valet or a parking service, the last thing you want to worry about is the safety of your possessions or the security of your personal information. Using a valet key keeps the locking compartments of your car secure, protecting you and anything stored in the car. The key for your BMW is stored inside the remote you use to start the car. Using the remote properly is the only way to get the car to start, with or without the key.

Instructions

1. Press the small, circular button on the remote next to the tip of the key. Slide the key out of the remote. Lock your glove compartment and center console area. Place the key in a secure area. The remote is now your valet key.

2. Slide the remote into the rectangular slot on the dashboard just behind the steering wheel. Push the remote into the slot until it clicks. Put your foot on the brake and depress the pedal. Push and release the "Start" button on the dashboard beside the remote slot to start the engine.

3. Push and release the "Start" button a second time to turn off the engine. Push in slightly on the remote to unlock it and slide it out of the slot.

4. Slide the key back into the remote to store it safely, preventing loss or damage.
