Load Jad & Jar Files On A Blackberry 7100i

Loading JAD and JAR (installer packages) to your BlackBerry 7100i allows you to install the software or theme that is embedded in the file. If you want to load the files onto your BlackBerry, you simply need to connect your BlackBerry to your computer and store the files in a certain location. Once you have copied the files onto your BlackBerry device, you will be able to install the files and load the software from the device itself.

Instructions

1. Connect your BlackBerry 7100i to your computer via USB. When asked whether to enter "Mass Storage Mode" on the phone, select "Yes."

2. Browse to your JAD or JAR files on your computer, select them and press "Ctrl"+"C" to copy the files.

3. Click "Start" and then "Computer." Double-click your BlackBerry 7100i from the options.

4. Double-click the "Media" folder to enter the media card, as opposed to the "Device Memory." Press "Ctrl"+"V" to paste the files. Disconnect your BlackBerry 7100i from the computer.

5. Go to the "Media" folder on your BlackBerry, then press the Menu button and select "Explore." Browse to the "Media Card" folder and then select the JAR or JAD files to install the files. Select "Download" to install the applications to your device.
