Unlock The Sphm560

Unlocking the Samsung Reclaim lets you install foreign SIM cards into the phone.

Unlocking your Samsung Reclaim SPH-M560 mobile phone is convenient if you want to use the device on another mobile network. For example, you may be traveling overseas and need to unlock the phone to use it on a foreign network. The Reclaim SPH-M560 can be unlocked using its IMEI (identity) code, along with its unlock code. Each device has a different unlock code. Get the code from your network provider or an online unlocking service.

Instructions

1. Type in * # 0 6 # to locate your phone's IMEI (unique identification) number. You need the number to unlock the device. Write down the number.

2. Dial "611" to request your phone's unlock code from your mobile provider. Be prepared to give the customer service agent the IMEI number that was displayed on your screen. Alternatively, purchase an unlock code from an online site, if your mobile provider can't give it to you.

3. Type #7465625 * 638 * [UNLOCK CODE] #. Insert the code given to you by your mobile provider or an unlocking service where you see "UNLOCK CODE."

4. Wait for the screen to read "Network Lock Deactivated." The phone is now unlocked. Insert a foreign SIM card by removing the battery and sliding the foreign SIM card into the slot. Power on the device by pressing the "Power" button on front of the device.
