Sync Outlook With Blackberry 8320 Via Usb

Although BlackBerry phones are generally quite reliable, synchronizing your BlackBerry 8320 with Outlook can prove to be very useful if data is suddenly lost from the phone. BlackBerry 8320 data that can be synced with Outlook include the Contacts, Calendar, Memo Pad and Tasks. This data can then be modified on the BlackBerry or in Outlook on the computer with changes automatically synchronized between the devices. By using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, you can sync Outlook with the BlackBerry 8320 via USB.


Instructions


1. Go to BlackBerry.com and download the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. Install the Desktop Manager by double-clicking the installation file and following the on-screen prompts.


2. Click "Start," then "All Programs" and then "BlackBerry Desktop Manager" to run the Desktop Manager program.


3. Connect your BlackBerry 8320 to the computer by using the BlackBerry's USB cable. Wait for the BlackBerry to show up as connected in the Desktop Manager.


4. Click the "Synchronize" option on the main menu of the Desktop Manager. Click "Configuratio," and then click the "Synchronization" button.


5. Select the things that you want to sync between Outlook and your BlackBerry 8320. The things that can be synchronized between the two include your Contacts, Calendar, Memo Pad and Tasks. Click "Next."


6. Click "Microsoft Outlook" when asked what you want to synchronize the BlackBerry with. Click "Next."


7. Select "Two way sync." Click "Next."


8. Select your default Outlook profile and then click "Next." Click "Finish" and then click "Synchronize Now" to begin syncing Outlook with the BlackBerry 8320 via USB.
