Use Text Signature On A Nokia Flip Phone

Use Text Signature on a Nokia Flip Phone

Text messaging is not only a workout for your fingers but one of the main ways of communication on your cell phone. Texting allows quick messages to be sent, and these messages get more and more creative with time. Video messages and picture messages can beef up your text, and plenty of other options exist, like adding a text signature. A text signature can be used in text messages and in the text boxes of picture and video messages on your Nokia flip phone.

Instructions

1. Open your Nokia flip phone and go to the Main Menu. The Main Menu option ia right on the screen when you flip your phone up. The button on your phone that goes straight to it is usually the Left or Right soft keys.

2. Scroll over to the Messaging section once you've entered the Main Menu. This is the place where you find your text messages, voice mails and video messages.

3. Find the Messages Settings section inside the Messaging part of the Main Menu. This category allows you to delete messages, change the font size and see quick text options, as well as write in a text signature. When you scroll down to this Messages Settings section, press "OK" to open it.

4. Choose "Signature" from the menu and click "OK" to open this up. Your text signature should automatically be set to "Off." Scroll down and select "Custom," the other option. Click "OK" once the Custom button is lit up.

5. Write in your text signature. Clicking on "Custom" should open up a text box where you can write whatever you want. Use either Abc mode or Word mode and write your text signature in this box. When you're finished, click "OK" and your signature will then show up in the messages you send.
