Change The Back Cover For An Iphone 3g

You can change the back cover for an iPhone 3G with screwdrivers.

The iPhone has a slender phone body and big display screen. The back cover of the iPhone 3G comes in silver and gives the gadget a unique appearance. However, if the rear portion of your iPhone receives a scratch or other type of outward damage, this causes the appearance of your phone to diminish. If you want to change the back cover of your iPhone 3G, you can perform this task with screwdrivers and a paperclip.

Instructions

1. Turn off the iPhone.

2. Pull your paperclip so that it becomes straight. Then, insert it in your SIM card opening (the tiniest hole) on the upper portion of your device. This causes your card to come out of its place.

3. Turn your device over so you can see its rear cover. Use a screwdriver that contains a flat head to ease off the rear plastic cover. To do this, place the tool in the space that exists in the middle of your black cover and silver case.

4. Take out the screws that attach the silver case with your screwdriver of the Phillips-head variety.

5. Gently ease your flat-head screwdriver along the side portions of your rear case once more.

6. Remove the rear case of your iPhone 3G. This allows you to see the ribbon that attaches your rear case to the motherboard of your device. Nudge the ribbon gently upwards with the use of your flat-head screwdriver to remove it.

7. Insert the ribbon for your new rear cover. Then, replace the screws that you removed earlier. Ease the black rear cover on again.
