Download Itunes To An Ipod Touch

The iPod Touch brings touch screen sensitivity to Apple's line of portable media players. Just like the iPod Classic, iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle, the iPod Touch can download your entire iTunes library onto itself so you can enjoy your favorite songs, audiobooks and other iTunes media while on-the-go. The complete download and syncing process is automated once you customize your transfer settings.

Instructions

1. Launch the iTunes software on your computer.

2. Connect the iPod Touch to your computer using its included USB syncing cable. For the best results, use a port that is directly on your computer rather than a peripheral port on your keyboard or a USB hub.

3. Click the iPod Touch's icon in the left column of iTunes. A summary screen of the iPod Touch's settings will appear in the main iTunes window.

4. Click each of the respective tabs at the top of the screen to customize the iPod Touch's transfer options. For example, click "Photos" to turn photo syncing on or off.

5. Push the "Apply" button in the lower right corner of the screen. The iPod Touch will now download your entire iTunes library, including any applicable music, calendars, photos, movies and applications, onto its internal drive according to the transfer options you just set. Syncing is henceforth automated, although you can modify your download settings at any time.
