Most modern cellular phones now come with Bluetooth capability. This is a feature that allows you to connect headsets and other devices wirelessly to the phone. One such headset is a Plantronics headset. It is a small unit that wraps around the ear and allows you to chat away while driving or otherwise on the go. You can connect a Plantronics device to your phone quickly.
Instructions
1. Turn on your cellular device and enable Bluetooth according to the instruction manual for your particular cellular phone.
2. Turn on your Plantronic headset by pressing the "Control" button on the front of the unit. Hold the button for approximately two seconds until the LED light on the front of the unit flashes blue. It will then immediately flash red and blue, signaling that it is in pairing mode.
3. Search the list of available Bluetooth devices on your cellular phone until you come to the Plantronics listing. Select it.
4. Enter "0000" when prompted. This is the passcode. Once you enter this code the unit will connect to your cellular phone.
