Transfer Your Ringtones To A Nokia 7205

You can use Bluetooth technology to transfer files to your phone.

The 7205, also known as the Intrigue, is a clamshell mobile phone with a sleek outer design created by Nokia. It supports various media file types such as image, video and MP3, which can be transferred to the phone from a computer. MP3 files can be selected as incoming call alerts, or ringtones, on your Nokia 7205.

Instructions

1. Plug the Bluetooth dongle into a free USB port on your computer and wait for any missing drivers to load. When they have loaded, a notification will appear above the system tray.

2. Right click the Bluetooth icon in the system tray and select "Options." Click the "Discovery" tab and select "Turn Discovery On." Click "Ok" to save the settings.

3. Press the menu button on your phone and open "Settings and Tools." Scroll down and select "Bluetooth Menu."

4. Press the menu button on your phone and open "Settings and Tools." Scroll down and select "Bluetooth Menu." When the notification appears offering help, press the "Ok" button. Press it again to switch on your Bluetooth and search for devices in the area.

5. Select your computer from the devices list to initiate pairing, type a numerical password and press "Ok." Accept the connection on your computer, and enter the numerical password to finish pairing.

6. Right click the Bluetooth icon in your computer's system tray and select "Send a File." Click "Browse," select the MP3 file you wish to send and click "Next."

7. Select your mobile from the device list and click "Next." Accept the file invitation on your phone to receive the file.

8. Press the "Ok" key to access the main menu. Open "Settings and Tools" then select "Sound Settings."

9. Open "Call Sounds" and select "Call Ringtone." A list of the MP3s on your mobile phone will be displayed--select the MP3 file you transferred to use it as a ringtone.
