Nokia N95 Instructions

The Nokia N95 is a smart phone with a front touch screen that retracts to reveal a standard keypad. It also comes with modern technological features such as WiFi access and Bluetooth capability. These features are advanced, but setting up the phone and using them is straightforward.

Instructions

1. Turn your N95 over and slide the battery door off of the rear of the unit. Place the included battery in the compartment and replace the battery door.

2. Insert a microSD memory card in the slot located on the lower left side of the unit. Make sure the connector teeth on the card are facing the slot as you push it in.

3. Press the "Power" button on the top of the phone and wait for the home screen to appear. Slide the front screen up to its open position. Press the "Menu" button which is located directly to the left of the "Scroll" button in the center of the keypad. Select "Web" from the list of options to bring up the Internet. This will work as long as there is an active WiFi signal. The WiFi icon in the top corner of the screen will inform you whether or not there is an active signal.

4. Press the "Menu" key and select "Disconnect" to close out of the web browser.

5. Press the "Menu" key and select "Tools," then "Bluetooth" from the list of options to enable Bluetooth. Since this is your first time using the phone, you will be prompted to enter a name for your mobile device. Use the keypad to enter the name and press "OK" to confirm.

6. Use the "Scroll" key to toggle the Bluetooth connectivity to "On." The phone will then search for an active Bluetooth device in the area and display the options on screen. Select the device you would like to use and press "OK." To close out of Bluetooth, press the "Menu" key, then "Tools," then "Bluetooth" and then "Disconnect."

7. Press the "Menu" key and then select "Music" from the list of options to bring up the phone's media player.

8. Tap the phone icon on the front touch screen to bring up the digital keypad. From here you can dial phone numbers. To check voicemail, dial "1" on the keypad.
