Unlock A Blackberry 9530 Via A Pc

Once unlocked, you can use your BlackBerry on other networks.

Unlocking your BlackBerry phone gives you the ability to use it on other wireless networks. You can also use it overseas, when traveling to other countries. If you received your BlackBerry 9530 through an online store, it may have a lock on it. To remove the unlock via your PC, you need to use a USB cable and mobile unlocking software.

Instructions

1. Enter the code *#06# and press "SEND." Write down the 15-digit IMEI number for your BlackBerry. You will need this to generate a code from the mobile unlocking software.

2. Download mobile unlocking software that is compatible with your BlackBerry. Examples include software available from Unlocktotalk.com, Cellcorner.com and FilesTube.com. Install the software to your computer's hard drive.

3. Connect the USB cable to your BlackBerry phone. Plug the other end into your computer's available USB port.

4. Launch the mobile unlocking software. It will detect your phone and ask for an IMEI number. Enter the IMEI number. Select your country and network provider from the drop-down lists.

5. Type "MEP" and "MEPD" into your BlackBerry. Enter the generated unlock code. Wait for a "Code Accepted" message.
