What Is Nero Suite

Nero Suite, also known as Nero Multimedia Suite, is a multi-use software. Nero Suite offers various functions, such as the ability to do advanced video editing, burn CD's or DVD's, organize media and save your work using its comprehensive back-up tools.


History


The first version of Nero Suite (Nero 6) was released in 2003.


Features


Nero Multimedia Suite offers a multitude of features that are included in the majority of the software's versions. With the exception of the first version (Nero 6), all versions can copy and burn Blu-ray Discs, CD's and DVD's. Additionally, they all allow you to use a Windows desktop gadget to burn files with one click of your mouse. And they provide SecurDisc, which can increase the lifespan and reliability of the discs you have burned. The latest 3 versions, Nero 9, Nero 9 Essentials and Nero Multimedia Suite 10 are all compatible with the 3 latest versions of Windows (Windows XP, Vista, and 7).


Considerations


When using Nero Multimedia Suite, you may want to consider using the latest version (10). This is because the latest version contains additional features and functions that previous versions did not have.


Fun Fact


Nero offers 7 versions of its multimedia suite; version 10 is the most current.
