There are three ways you can install themes onto your Nokia 3250 so you can personalize the way your phone looks and operates. A theme changes the background pictures, font and font colors on the screen of your phone. Themes can also change the ring tones, message tones and even the menu structure of your phone's software. A theme is the easiest way to make your Nokia 3250 an extension of your personality.
Instructions
Via a Computer
1. Download Nokia 3250 themes online via the Internet and save the theme file on your computer. There are many different theme downloading websites online like Mobile9.com, Nokia Themes.com and Zedge.com (see Resources).
2. Remove the SD memory card from your Nokia 3250 and insert it into an SD card reader. Connect the SD card reader to your computer.
3. Go to "My Computer" and open up the folder for your Nokia's memory card. Copy the theme file from your computer and place it on the memory card.
4. Remove the memory card from the SD card reader and place it back into your Nokia 3250.
5. Go to the list of themes on your Nokia and the new theme will be there.
Via Bluetooth
6. Download Nokia 3250 themes online via the Internet and save the theme file on your computer. There are many different theme downloading websites online like Mobile9.com, Nokia Themes.com and Zedge.com (see Resources).
7. Select "Menu," "Tools" and "Bluetooth" on your Nokia and turn on the phone's Bluetooth capability. Make sure your Bluetooth is set to allow everyone to see you.
8. Turn on the Bluetooth on your computer by clicking on the Bluetooth icon. If necessary, turn on the Bluetooth and then select "Pair Device." Once the computer locates your phone, the computer will give you a code to enter into the Nokia. Enter the code into the Nokia to establish a paired connection.
9. Locate the downloaded theme on your computer. Right-click on the file and select "Send via Bluetooth." Select your Nokia from the available targets and select "Send."
10. Select "Install" when prompted on your Nokia.
Via OVI Store
11. Access the OVI icon on the main list of programs on your Nokia 3250. This will launch the Internet on your phone and take you to Nokia's downloading store called the "OVI Store." The OVI store will recognize the model of phone you have and present you will all of the downloads the store has that will work on your device.
12. Navigate through the list of downloads and select the theme you want to install on your phone.
13. Make a payment to the OVI store if the theme you choose costs money. Your carrier will charge you for your purchase but you must agree to the charge before you can download the theme. If the theme is free, this step is skipped.
14. Select "Install" to install the theme onto your Nokia.
