Connect A N95 To The Internet

N95 is a popular smartphone developed and distributed by Nokia. Aside from texting, calling friends, taking pictures and videos, this phone also allows users to connect to the Internet whenever they need to. Nokia N95 has built-in "Wi-Fi," which means that it can detect and connect to any wireless network within range. If you have an N95 and you want to connect to the Internet wirelessly, it should be easy.

Instructions

1. Highlight the wireless network within the phone's range in the "Active Standby" mode. Press the "center key" to display the next options, and then select "Start Web Browsing." Click "Options" if you want to search for other wireless networks available. All networks within range will be displayed.

2. If the "Active Standby" mode is not activated in your N95, you can press the "menu" button (to the left of the "center" button), select "Tools," "Conn. Mgr.," and then select "Available WLAN Networks."

3. Browse through the available wireless networks and highlight the name of the network you want to connect to, and then hit "Connect." If prompted, enter the "WEP Key," or "Pass Phrase" to connect to the network. If the WEP key you enter is incorrect, you will be asked to enter it a second time. You will be prompted that you are successfully connected to a network once the connection is established.

4. Hold down the "0" (zero) button to open N95's default web browser. You may also press the "menu" button, and then select "Web" for the Web browser to open.

5. To disconnect from a network, click the button at the left of the center button, and then select "Tools." Choose "Connectivity," and then "Conn. Mgr." Under "Active Data Connections," select "WLAN connections." Hit "Options," and then "Disconnect" to close a network, or "Disconnect All" to close all networks.
